Job Title: Account Manager – Sales (Southern Texas & Northern Mexico)
Location: McAllen, TX (covering Southern Texas and Northern Mexico regions including Reynosa, Monterrey, Juarez, and Chihuahua)

Role Overview: As an Account Manager, you will serve as the primary commercial resource for our field sales team, acting as the face of the company to both current and prospective clients. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships, driving sales growth, and facilitating project development across customer Purchasing, Engineering, and Production departments. This position requires an individual who can engage with multiple stakeholders, ensure the success of ongoing projects, and help lead initiatives to new business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service & Development: Manage and expand relationships with existing customers, while targeting and developing new opportunities within the appliance, industrial, automotive OEM, and tier supplier sectors.
- Sales Representation: Represent the company’s custom metal stamping capabilities, identifying and cultivating long-term customer relationships.
- Collaborative Engineering Support: Work closely with customers to design manufacturable metal components for sub-assemblies and end products. Collaborate with internal teams, including Cost Estimating, Tooling, and Production, to ensure project success.
- Problem Solving & Design Solutions: Provide creative solutions by developing products and services tailored to customer needs, driving technical and functional elements of RFIs and RFPs.
- Cross-functional Communication: Effectively communicate customer requirements to internal teams, ensuring alignment and timely project delivery.
- Travel & Territory Management: Travel as needed within the assigned region (Southern Texas, Northern Mexico) and occasionally to other territories like Tennessee and Kentucky.
Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years of relevant sales experience, preferably in manufacturing or a technical field.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong ability to read and interpret part blueprints and specifications.
- Basic understanding of material properties, including carbon, stainless steel, and precious metals.
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with 2D and CAD software (a plus, but not required).
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, technical manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong presentation abilities.
- Highly organized and able to navigate obstacles creatively to meet sales targets.
- Prepared to travel extensively within the assigned region.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with metal stamping or a related product line.
- Familiarity with engineering and production processes in a manufacturing setting.
