Job Title: Appliance Account Manager – Sales (Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky) 

Location: Toledo or Cleveland, OH (covering Ohio, Michigan, and Kentucky regions)

Role Overview: 
As the Appliance Account Manager, you will be the primary commercial resource for our sales team and serve as the face of the company to both current and prospective appliance industry clients. You will focus on building and maintaining strong relationships, driving sales growth, and facilitating project development by working closely with customer Purchasing, Engineering, and Production departments. This position requires an individual who can manage multiple points of contact and drive projects to completion. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Customer Service & Development: Manage and expand relationships with existing appliance industry customers while targeting and developing new business opportunities within Ohio, Michigan, and Kentucky. 
  • Sales Representation: Represent the company’s custom metal stamping services to appliance manufacturers, identifying and cultivating long-term relationships with key customers. 
  • Collaborative Engineering Support: Partner with customers to design manufacturable metal components for appliances, working alongside internal teams such as Cost Estimating, Tooling, and Production to ensure seamless project execution. 
  • Solution Development: Drive creative solutions for product design to meet customer specifications, while addressing technical and functional elements of RFIs and RFPs. 
  • Cross-functional Communication: Act as the liaison between customers and internal teams, conveying customer needs clearly to ensure successful project outcomes. 
  • Travel & Territory Management: Travel regularly within Ohio, Michigan, and Kentucky, visiting customers and prospects to build relationships and manage projects. 

Qualifications: 

  • 3-5+ years of relevant sales experience, preferably in manufacturing, particularly within the appliance or technical sectors. 
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. 
  • Ability to read and interpret part blueprints and specifications. 
  • Basic understanding of materials, such as carbon, stainless steel, and precious metals. 
  • Mechanical aptitude; familiarity with 2D and CAD software is a plus, but not required. 
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, technical manufacturing environment. 
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present effectively and professionally in writing and verbally. 
  • Organized and able to navigate obstacles creatively to meet sales goals. 
  • Prepared for regular travel within the assigned territory. 
  • Valid driver’s license required. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with metal stamping products, especially in the appliance industry. 
  • Familiarity with engineering and production processes in manufacturing.
