Phosphate Line Operator – Wickliffe, OH

We are seeking a Phosphate Line Operator to join our team in Wickliffe, OH.

This position is responsible for finishing a variety of parts by applying phosphate, oil, wax, paint, and other coatings.  Will test solution for right consistency and temperature, adjusts where necessary.  Responsible for quality of parts and operation of phosphate line/paint belt assigned at or above the established standard rate. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operates the phosphate line to finish/coat parts at or above established standard rate following the corresponding work instructions and procedures. 
• May handle titration following the corresponding work instruction and/or procedure.
• Responsible for duties associated with Wastewater Treatment System (see work instructions/procedures).
• Troubleshooting of phosphate line as needed (per related work instruction(s) and/or procedure(s)).   
• Responsible for the housekeeping of assigned area.  Including phosphate maintenance, phosphate steam coil cleaning, and sludge tower.
• Reports faulty machine operation or faulty parts to supervisor or lead person.
• Responsible for machine reporting paperwork and other paperwork as assigned.
• Increase and maintain technical knowledge by attending training sessions as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of manufacturing experience.
• Experience working with chemicals or coatings is preferred.
• Must have basic math skills
• Must be accurate and have a strong attention to detail
