This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands‑on manufacturing environment and enjoys designing tooling that drives quality, efficiency, and innovation.
What You’ll Do
- Design new tooling, fixtures, and dies for metal stamping operations
- Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD models, drawings, and specifications
- Collaborate closely with toolmakers, engineers, and production teams to ensure manufacturability
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance tool performance and reduce downtime
- Troubleshoot tooling issues and recommend design modifications
- Maintain documentation, revision control, and design standards
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in tooling design for metal stamping or related manufacturing
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)
- Strong understanding of die construction, materials, tolerances, and manufacturing processes
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
- Problem‑solving mindset with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
